UK urges other countries to adopt climate rules for pensions

By Martin Croucher (November 4, 2021, 13:35 GMT) – The government urged other countries to follow the UK’s lead in passing climate regulations for retirement savings schemes, one month after going into effect new reporting rules.

Therese Coffey, Secretary for Work and Pensions, said on Wednesday the retirement savings sector will play a critical role in helping Britain meet the goal of net zero carbon emissions in the economy here 2050.
