SDNY COURTHOUSE, March 7 –

The Travelers Indemnity Company of America sued Trisura Specialty Insurance Company seeking compensation for an injury suffered by Anthony Scalone at 300 Lafayette Street on December 23, 2019.

On March 7, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Judge Paul A. Engelmayer, held a hearing. Inner City Press has it covered.

Travelers requested a pre-motion conference on his intention to seek summary judgment.

Judge Engelmayer asked whether the defendant would move sideways and, in any event, if the motion(s) were unsuccessful, there would be questions of fact to be tried.

The case is The Travelers Indemnity Company of America v. Trisura Specialty Insurance Company, 21-cv-4327 (Engelmayer)
