New Delhi: Reliance General Insurance (RGICL) has launched a flexible and customizable health insurance policy – Reliance Health Gain. The policy offers customers the flexibility to design their health insurance policy by choosing features according to their needs and paying only what they choose.

RGICL has released three different plans – Plus, Power and Prime – and an array of features to make it easy to customize the policy for each customer. With this launch, Reliance General aims to meet the evolving and unique medical needs of modern customers of all age groups.

Reliance Health Gain comes with 38 cutting-edge features such as Double Cover which provides twice the sum insured amount to be used on the same claim; Unlimited reinstatement to restore the basic insured amount as many times as it is exhausted during a policy year; Guaranteed cumulative bonus, which protects the loss of cumulative bonus after claim; or the benefit of reducing the waiting period for a pre-existing condition from 3 years to 2 or even 1 year. Along with many other benefits, the product was designed with the modern health insurance consumer in mind.

Be it an aspirant, the wealthy or the elite, this specially designed policy offers a wide range of sum assured options ranging from 3 lakhs to Rs 1 crore, creating appeal for all income groups. Customers between the ages of 18 and 65 have the option of selecting all features at any insured amount. Also, there is no age limit in this policy for sum insured up to ₹3 lakhs.

Thus, seniors who sometimes do not have a medical contract can easily opt for Health Gain to protect themselves. Additionally, the policy offers a unique feature in which a client can cover a family of up to 12 people, including extended family members such as father-in-law/mother-in-law in the same family floating policy, allowing families spouses/Hindu undivided families (HUF) to opt for a floating policy that suits everyone in the family.

The policy further introduced unique discounts like rewarding healthy clients under 50, i.e. without any pre-existing conditions, with a 15% premium discount for purchasing a 2/3 year long term policy.

Promoting support for young women, customers can also benefit from a 5% discount for insuring a girl or if the applicant is a woman. Reliance’s Health Gain Policy also comes with a zoned pricing model to ensure customers pay premiums only based on the average medical cost of the city they live in.

The insurance plan is designed in a way that gives customers the independence to choose what they want and only pay for what they choose, redefining a new way of buying health insurance in the country and making it extremely profitable for the masses.
