For her hard work, commitment and dedication, Interswitch Group management has promoted Ms. Cherry Eromosele to the position of Executive Vice President (EVP) in charge of Marketing and Communications in its countries of operation.

The graduate in Biology from the University of Benin, in a post, confirmed her elevation by writing: “If I have seen further, it is because I have stood on the shoulders of giants. Sincere appreciation to all (too many to mention here) who have framed and shaped my career prospects over the years.

The respected marketing communications professional will be expected to provide leadership and direction, as well as inspire the largest payments giant’s marketing and corporate communications teams across all of its operations in Africa to execute dynamic programs and initiatives. marketing, communications and stakeholder engagement, focused on achieving goals of maintaining and improving brand awareness, preference and equity, customer acquisition, growth transactions and sustainable social responsibility.

She will also be responsible for developing and institutionalizing strong and sustainable processes that help achieve Interswitch’s branding, marketing and communications objectives, while providing strategic marketing guidance to the board/level. C and to the sales department.

Prior to joining Interswitch, Ms. Eromosele worked at Diageo where she rose through the ranks to become Marketing Manager, Guinness Brands. She then joined MTN as Senior Manager, Segment Marketing, then GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) as Head of Marketing for Nutritionals.

She has completed executive programs at Columbia University, Cranfield University, Wharton Business School, Kellogg Business, Lagos Business School, and Oxford University Business School’s Fintech program.

Alumnus of the Senior Management Program (SMP) of the Lagos Business School (LBS), she is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Marketing.

Ms. Eromosele is a dynamic, performance-driven professional with over 25 years of versatile, multi-industry functional and leadership experience. She has distinguished herself professionally with a proven track record in product innovation and marketing, hence her recognition as one of the amazons changing the landscape of the global marketing space.
