Gusto and The Alchemist investor back fast-growing retirement advisor My Pension Expert

An investor like Gusto and The Alchemist backed a fast-growing retirement advisor.

Manchester-based Palatine Private Equity has made a “significant investment” in Doncaster-based My Pension Expert.

The company, which has a team of 65, will use the additional funding to accelerate its growth plans and expand its business proposition.

Andrew Megson, Executive Chairman of My Pension Expert, said: “We are delighted that Palatine has chosen to partner and invest in My Pension Expert.

“Palatine’s focus on sustainability was also a key factor in accepting this important investment.

The deal will be funded by an investment from Palatine’s buyout and impact funds.

Palatine was advised by Gateley (legal), Quinn Partnership (personnel), Kroll (regulatory and financial), Lockton (insurance), Open Partners (digital) and Equator (technology).

The deal remains subject to FCA regulatory approval.
